What Chiropractic Care May Look Like

Each session is approximately one hour, giving us time to understand what’s going on, work together, and not rush through care.

Your initial visit begins with a comprehensive history and examination. We’ll talk through what you’re experiencing, your health and injury history, your movement and activity demands, and what you’re hoping to get back to or accomplish. The examination may include vital signs, neurological and orthopedic testing, and movement assessment to help develop a differential diagnosis and determine the most appropriate next steps for your care.

From there, care is individualized to you and your goals. Care may include chiropractic adjustments and joint mobilization, soft tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, strength and mobility work, and movement or technique coaching for the activities, training, or performance demands that matter to you.

The goal is not only to address what hurts. We’ll also work on understanding your movement, building physical capacity, refining technique when appropriate, and developing strategies you can use outside of the office.

Chiropractic evaluation and treatment are provided by Dr. Dylan Tarrant, DC, a licensed chiropractor in New York.

Performance Coaching

What Performance Coaching May Look Like

Performance coaching is for dancers, athletes, performers, and movers looking to build greater confidence, body awareness, physical capacity, and trust in their movement.

Sessions are individualized around you, your goals, and the demands of your movement or performance. Depending on your goals, coaching may explore movement quality, coordination, strength, power, speed, mobility, body awareness, physical preparation, technique, and performance confidence.

Performance is about more than what happens on a stage or at a competition. We may also explore how you prepare, respond to challenges or mistakes, develop new skills, and build strategies for navigating class, rehearsal, training, competition, and other movement experiences.

Coaching is available in person or online. Online services may also include individualized programming through Everfit, video feedback, check-ins, and virtual coaching sessions depending on the level of support that is right for you.

Performance Coaching is a non-clinical coaching and educational service. It is separate from chiropractic care and does not include chiropractic evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. If a concern arises that may require healthcare evaluation or treatment, appropriate medical or healthcare care may be recommended.
